Garrison Financial Group

Craig Garrison is the son of a 35 year Financial Services industry veteran. After growing up seeing the joy and personal gratification that his father received from the profession, when Craig was ready for a change from Public Accounting, Dad was consulted. Craig also talked with his Northwestern Mutual Financial Representative, Ben Miller, about career options. As a Financial Representative, Craig Garrison saw the perfect opportunity to combine his financial and accounting background with his strong desire to help others accomplish their financial objectives. Craig takes great pride in the way he builds client relationships based on trust, integrity, and honesty.

Chartered Financial Consultant®

The ChFC® program provides the most current and comprehensive financial planning education by combining the key financial planning fundamentals, with practical applications to put those theories to work. With content in the curriculum that addresses topics such as: behavioral finance, special needs planning, small business planning, financial planning for clients in the LGBT community, financial planning for divorce complexities and more, ChFC® designees are trained to masterfully handle a wide variety of modern financial topics.

Chartered Life Underwriter

The Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designation has long been recognized as the fundamental and foremost educational credential for life insurance professionals. Since 1927, more than 94,000 individuals have earned their CLU®, helping them build a successful life insurance practice by providing clients with knowledgeable and ethical advice. For financial representatives, field management, home office personnel, and others involved in providing life insurance products to the public, the CLU® designation symbolizes continuing growth and commitment to professionalism.

Certification for Long-Term Care

The Certification for Long-Term Care educates professionals in the fields of insurance and financial services about the potential emotional, physical and financial consequences a need for care could have on their client and those they love. CLTC education provides professionals with the skill set to discuss these consequences, offer a plan to mitigate them, and when appropriate, recommend long-term care insurance as a funding source for that plan.

Chartered Advisor for Senior Living

Widely adopted across the broad spectrum of financial services, the CASL® five-course curriculum prepares the financial professional to lead clients from middle age through retirement and assist them with the management, preservation, and transfer of wealth. The CASL® designation is Northwestern Mutual’s only approved ‘senior’ designation.
